In 2019 I ordered a tasting flight from a local whiskey bar and received a strip of wood with three glasses and a piece of masking tape with faint handwriting identifying the $70 of Japanese whiskey it contained. While it didn’t change the flavor of the whiskey, the disappointing presentation made the whole experience unsatisfying and I knew there had to be a better way. After five years of refining the design, materials, and construction, The Whiskey Flight tasting board delivers the elevated experience those expertly crafted whiskies deserved.

Committed to using only the best materials; we cut and hand grind solid Montauk Black slate to create the chalkboard writing surface and pair it with a genuine chalk pencil from Real Slate. This combination results in smudge-resistant, high contrast writing with enough fine definition to include details like proof, barrel number, or cask finishes. Storage for the chalk pencil is built into the board so you never have to worry about misplacing it. When you are finished, the slate can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

The underside features four embedded non-skid pads that keep the board locked in place without the risk of damaging the tabletop.
